Who Am I?
Graduating from Keele university in 2009 with a BSC Hons in Physiotherapy, I began my career journey as a Musculoskeletal (MSK) specialist in private practice. I worked closely in occupational health, for contracts such as South Yorkshire Police, Royal Mail, British Telecoms and Anglian Water. After a year and a half I moved to Norfolk where I began my training in Pilates with APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute) in 2011. This has allowed me to teach regular classes ranging from beginner to advanced, with both matwork and small equipment.
I went on to complete my Acupuncture Foundation qualification in 2012, specialising in headaches, and neck and back pain.
In 2013, I launched Laura McGeary Physio. I see patients of all ages, and my areas of physiotherapy practice include; MSK, Paediatrics and Neurological conditions. I also enjoy working with sports specific injuries and rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy is a broad vocation and works within many areas of the health sector, So if you have a question, or wonder whether Physiotherapy may be appropriate for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
